Dividend Strategy
The Toronto Building Exchange is established like a co-operative for its members. This means that TBX members share in any profits that TBX generates. We call these TBX profit distributions TBX Dividends. The way in which TBX Dividends are distributed to TBX members is calculated by the way a member has contributed to the success of building the TBX network of members.
When a new member is introduced to TBX, we take account of who made the introduction by the use of discount numbers. Discount Numbers are issued to all members of TBX, and when used by new members, the new member gets a discount on TBX services and an entitlement to TBX profit is created for the member that had made the referral.
