Our Mission and Business Case
The goal of TBX is to serve an organization of credible members. TBX is solely focused on its members reaching their business needs. This is achieved by TBX helping members find work and to make sure that opportunities are not missed in the modern construction environment.

TBX is a centre of expertise offering work connections among builders, contractors and labourers. Other services include providing insurance and construction information. The services of TBX have been made available at a low cost to members, and provide members with the opportunities to share in the growth and profitability of TBX.

The TBX business case is based on mutual benefit and gain. The basic idea of the exchange is to create relationships and connect construction professionals in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In the tier 3 and outer fringes of the tier 2 market, there lacks a clear medium that enables tradesmen and contractors to display work opportunities and/or work availabilities. TBX makes transparent the sometimes invisible network of construction professionals in the GTA by linking them together with our Dividend Referral Program (DRP). With the DRP, members can draw in their own network and gain income from doing so. With every new member that is referred to the exchange, the referring member receives a percentage income.

While the exchange is our primary offering, TBX is much more. We aim to create a community and take care of our members by making use of the large member base by negotiating group benefits with insurance companies and passing the savings onto our members. With a community of members, we are able to offer group discounts on computer sales and support services such as legal help, project management tools and news and research.

The task of finding labour is the responsibility of TBX, freeing up members so they can focus on what is most important – building.

TBX gives members the ability to select the right person for the job. Members have the flexibility to pick and choose projects and labourers.

The TBX information service continually surveys the construction environment for changes that could affect your business. TBX also delivers construction news and research.
Money
Due to TBX’s large membership base, TBX can make deals with insurance companies to offer discounted insurance policies. Members can expect to receive savings from our insurance offerings. Also, through the Dividend Referral Program, TBX allows members to earn money for every new member they sign up.
Personalized Access
Members have their own personalized “MyTBX” account that will allow them to customise their profile, set alerts, and define insurance needs and search for work requirements.
