Learn the TBX Exchange

The TBX exchange provides a unique opportunity for members to connect to each other, establish business relationships and stay up-to-date.

  • To access the exchange, the first step is to register as member. You can do this by either filling in our online registration form or calling us on (416) 7 829 829. As a member you will be able to take advantage of TBX’s broad offering of discounted services. You will also be allowed access to our news and research.
  • TBX is broken into two parts, a private and public site. As a member you will have access to both sites. As a guest, you will only be able to navigate throughout the public site to better understand the business.
  • To navigate the site, you will find that there is a navigation bar with buttons at the top of and on the left hand side of each page. Information regarding TBX can be found by clicking on each button.
  • As a guest you have limited access; you can gain complete access by signing up as a member. Each restricted page will refer you to the registration page.
  • Member access will allow you to lodge work job sheets or availabilities. The “Job Market” button on the top navigation bar will get you started and then you can either express interest in labour or provide work opportunities to members on the exchange. The Exchange Monitor does the rest by matching your requests automatically and delivering contact details to you.
  • To view your results or get a history of transactions that you have made, simply click on the “Results” button on the top navigation and work your way through the links.
  • Every time you make a transaction, there is a small fee. In order to maintain the proper amount of credit in your “MyTBX” account, the system will tell you when your money amount has dropped below a certain level. You can top-up your account by going to “MyAccount” and make a payment by online credit card or cheque. At this point, you can ask the system to tell you when your money amount has dropped below a certain level.
  • By clicking on “Search”, you will be able to either search or browse the exchange. Just enter your criteria or click on the relevant folders.
